Art Studio Tour features open artisans' studios providing a rare, intimate view of the artist and their work during the creative process. Art Studio Tour 2010 will be held on October 8th, 9th and 10th. Many of the studios are open only for this FREE event, providing a unique opportunity to meet the artists in their environment, purchase their work and see how it is created. Arts Events, Inc., a subsidiary non-profit organization of newARTS, continues to manage Artstreet, Arti Gras and Bayfest. The purpose of Arts Events, Inc. is to promote and produce festivals and events that create a vision of the community as a place to enjoy artistic, cultural, and educational activities that enhance the quality of life in the area and that contribute significantly to tourism and economic development.
