The Art-Craftic On Broadway is an alternative "arts & crafts" street fair held in downtown Green Bay in the historic Broadway district. This event will concentrate on 50 independent, do-it-yourself artists and craftspeople, encouraging the interaction between maker and buyer, while showcasing a wide variety of handmade talents.

Art-Craftic On Broadway is the combined effort of The Gift Itself Art and Jewelry Gallery (www.thegiftitself.com), On Broadway, Inc.(www.onbroadway.org), and the Northeastern Wisconsin Arts Council (www.newartscouncil.org).

Sleeping suites blocked: 20 Double Queen suites blocked for arrival on Friday, September 25th and check out on Sunday, September 27th. Sleeping suite rate is $89 plus tax for single/double occupancy. Additional adults are $20 extra per person per night. King suites are $10 more per night. Children under 18 stay free in parent’s suite. Includes a full breakfast served from 7 am to 10 am on Saturday and Sunday.
Cut-off date: Reservations need to be made individually and paid upon departure. Hotel Sierra does implement a firm one-week cut-off date. This means all reservations must be made no later than Friday, September 18, 2009. Any rooms left in the block after this date will fall back into general inventory.

Check out time: 11 am
Hotel Parking: Complimentary parking is available to all Hotel Sierra overnight guests.
Who can participate? What type of art and craft are you looking for?
Anybody who makes things by hand is invited to apply for a vending spot. As a juried event, we will be looking for a wide variety of artists who make quality, unique art and craft in a wide variety of price ranges.
How do I apply?
Applications will be accepted via email only!! Complete your application (see below), including 3 to 5 photos (jpg or pdf format please). Copy and paste completed application in an email and send to info@newartscouncil.org. Payment will be accepted by check or money order only in the amount of $50.00. Checks should be made payable to newARTS (NEW Arts Council) and mailed to NEW Arts Council, PO Box 704, Green Bay, WI 54305-0704. Vendor fees are non-refundable.
What if I am sick or can’t make it?
Because money will have been spent on advertising and promotion before the show, we will not be giving refunds.

How much does it cost to apply?
At this time, there is no jury fee, but you must mail us your check or money order by the application deadline.
What are the vendor fees? What do they include?
Upon acceptance, we will cash the $50.00 check or money order that you sent to us. Your vendor fee covers the space, and one meal ticket. (Participating restaurants TBA)
Where does the money from my vendor fee or sponsorship go?
We put that money right back into the fair, promotion and any fees that we need to cover.
Do I need a tax identification number?
You must have a taxpayer identification number to operate your business. This is generally your social security number, your sales tax number, or your employer id number (if you have employees).

Where can I stay?
Green Bay is home to some very reasonable and comfortable places to stay. We are working with our hospitality partners to reserve a block of rooms within walking distance of the show. Information about accommodations, with special pricing will be available online at www.newartscouncil.org, as soon as it is confirmed (just in case you want to make a weekend of it).
Food, Shopping, Etc.
The Broadway district is home to many wonderful restaurants and shops with the owners in house. Our district is full of friendly, helpful people, if you should need anything, and we are all looking forward to the show and your participation.
