2008 Art Studio Tour Dates:
October 10th, 11th and 12th
The Art Studio Tour features open artisans' studios providing a rare, intimate view of the artist and their work during the creative process. Many of the studios are open only for this FREE event, providing a unique opportunity to meet the artists in their environment, purchase their work and see how it is created.
Nineteen artists in Brown, Oconto and Kewaunee Counties invite you to visit their studios during the weekend of October 10th, 11th and 12th, 2008. Artists on this year's tour include painters, sculptors, weavers, glass workers, blacksmiths, jewelers, quilters and photographers. Visitors will have the opportunity to ask questions, discuss the artists' work, and see how it is created.
The FREE self-guided tour is designed so you can plan your own route. Beautiful scenery and magnificent fall color on the drive through the autumn countryside enhance the ride between studios. Full color brochures featuring examples of the artists' work and directions to the studios will available this summer and fall.
