The Northeastern Wisconsin Arts Council is now newARTS – a new organization with a revitalized mission.  We’ve been operating since 1979 as a non-profit, membership-based organization dedicated to enriching the quality of life for the citizens of Northeastern Wisconsin through efforts to support, foster and promote the arts.  In 2005, we restructured to enable us to serve the arts in our community.

We support the arts through:
• Public art program
• Grants to local arts organizations

• Art Studio Tour
• Artstreet, Arti Gras and International Bayfest, which are produced by our subsidiary, Arts Events, Inc.

We foster the arts through:
• Scholarships to students of the visual, performing and literary arts

And we promote the arts through:
• Green Bay Live!, a joint marketing promotion with local performing arts groups
• Advocacy of the Arts
