Northeastern Wisconsin Arts Council, newARTS, is a non-profit, cultural organization dedicated to enriching the quality of life through efforts that support, foster and promote the arts. newARTS is a membership-based service organization and we encourage you to support those artists who support us. One Book, One Community is a reading initiative designed to bring all Brown County residents together through reading and discussing the same book and now a literary arts program of newARTS! A coalition of agencies launched One Book, One Community to “engage the community in dialog and foster page-turning togetherness.”

Art Studio Tour features open artisans' studios providing a rare, intimate view of the artist and their work during the creative process. Art Studio Tour 2010 will be held on October 8th, 9th and 10th. Many of the studios are open only for this FREE event, providing a unique opportunity to meet the artists in their environment, purchase their work and see how it is created. Art-Craftic On Broadway is an alternative "arts & crafts" street fair held in downtown Green Bay in the historic Broadway district. This event will concentrate on 100 independent, DIY artists and craftspeople, encouraging interaction between maker and buyer. Art-Craftic On Broadway is the combined effort of The Gift Itself Art & Jewelry Gallery, On Broadway, Inc. (OBI) and the Northeastern Wisconsin Arts Council (newARTS) and takes place on Saturday, September 25th from 10 am to 6 pm.

Arts Events, Inc., a subsidiary non-profit organization of newARTS, continues to manage Artstreet, Arti Gras and Bayfest. The purpose of Arts Events, Inc. is to promote and produce festivals and events that create a vision of the community as a place to enjoy artistic, cultural, and educational activities that enhance the quality of life in the area and that contribute significantly to tourism and economic development.
