The Northeastern Wisconsin Arts Council has developed and installed
numerous works of art throughout the community in partnership
with the city of Green Bay since 2001. The Green Bay area’s first public art program includes

Life of the River - Currently, the installation of public art works is accomplished and administered by the Mayor’s Neighborhood Leadership Council (“MNLC”) in partnership with the City of Green Bay. The theme of Life of the River is a celebration of the historical nature and natural beauty of the Fox River as it flows through the City of Green Bay. The works shall reflect historical, natural or manmade elements, or the vitality of the Fox River and the inhabitants affected by it.
