2010 Scholarship Applications Now Available!
newARTS annually recognizes outstanding young artists through its Scholarship Program. Competitive awards are presented in performing arts, visual arts and literary arts categories to both high school and college students.
The newARTS competition is open to any high school student attending a school in Brown County and to any college or university student attending an institution in Brown County or maintaining a Brown County address if attending a school outside the county.
Traditionally, the scholarships are presented at a Awards Gala in May at a ceremony which features performances by the first and second place performing arts recipients, and also an exhibit of works by the visual artist award winners. Additionally, the evening includes the presentation of the Friend of the Arts awards to recognize community support of the arts and unveiling of the winner of the Artstreet logo for 2010.
